Her name does not entirely describe her. Her heart is very warm, but she doesn't always show it. In fact, she is very cold to strangers or anyone outside of her clan. Most that meet her think she is very unsocial. It's not that she's rude, she just....doesn't open up. She is fierce in battle. She stands up for what she believes in. If you are in her clan, you can count on her. She has a sense of humor, and is a very good teacher to the apprentices.
She has a sharp wit, also.

History: Winterheart had a normal life as a kit, I suppose. She played wither her brother and sisters, and couldn't wait to become an apprentice, then a warrior. But when she became an apprentice, her life became complicated. She was overjoyed to be an apprentice. But then she found out a terrible truth: Her parents were sneaking information to another clan, about Riverclan's weaknesses, etc. She was aghast. When she confronted her parents, they told her not to tell anyone. They tried to make it sound like they weren't actually doing anything wrong. Finally, she became brave. She told the Leader of the clan about what her parents were doing. The leader kept his/her eyes on them, to find out if this was true. Finally, he/she caught them in the act. He/She exiled Winterheart's parents. Her parents became furious and tried to hurt her. Luckily, they didn't get her. Her siblings decided to go with her parents. She found favor in the Leaders' eyes on many occasions. So when the old deputy died, the Leader appointed Winterheart the Deputy of RiverClan
